As a full-time student at Merit College, Jason has received the highest mark in all six Gr. 12 courses with an overall average of 92%. In addition, as the Class President, Jason has always been a good role model for the other students, and has actively contributed to the Merit community. As a result, Jason has been accepted into all top engineering programs that he had applied to, including Waterloo and University of Toronto with an entrance scholarship of $2,000, and has decided to go to Waterloo to study Mechanical Engineering in the fall.

Jason has made significant achievements in IELTS, where within less than half a year of arriving at Merit, his mark has improved from an overall band score of 4.5 to 7.0, which is above the requirement to get into any top Canadian universities. He has also obtained a perfect score of 9.0 in the reading section, which is a remarkable achievement. He was accepted into Ryerson, McMaster, and University of Toronto, and has decided to pursue Electrical Engineering at Ryerson University.
